Sunday at Trentham
Trentham Rifle range is the main club flying site. When the weather cooperates, members will be on site from about 9:00 AM until later in the day; and into the evening during summer. Visitors are welcome.
Important: This is a rifle range. Do Not enter if there is a red flag flying at the entrance or the gate is closed.
The weather station cameras (here) will let you know if there are people on site. Cars near the club shed on the right on a Sunday, usually indicates flying. The rifle range is controlled by the Army. The Events Calendar shows when we have bookings to use the range.
Monthly Club Meeting
The Club meets at 8:00 PM on the last Wednesday of each month (except November and December) at the Belmont Memorial Hall, Lower Hutt. Meetings are informal and usually have a particular focus, a guest speaker or workshop session.
Belmont Memorial Hall is situated beside State Highway 2 (Western Hutt Road) adjacent to Belmont School. Please note: Vehicle access to the hall parking area is from Fairway Drive, not SH 2.

Indoor Flying
See the Calendar for the next Indoor date.
About once a month on a Friday we meet at the Expressions Hall in Upper Hutt, next to the H2O pool. Beginning at 7:00 PM and leaving at 10:00 PM.
Entrance is now from the main road side door next to the cafe.
To cover hall rental we charge $10 per pilot and spectators are free.
We fly indoor electric planes, small helicopters and multi-rotors of all sizes are now common at indoor. It’s an ideal place to tune, trim and practice.
A great evening of indoor flying in a warm hall on a winters evening.
